First, I disclose the full value of the gold, diamonds, jewelry, bullion, coins, or estate and clearly show my profit margin. Second, I provide a written quote and honor that quote when the client returns.

You should expect to be paid above scrap prices for jewelry that can be resold for a profit by the buyer, and you should expect a gold-based price for broken or heavily worn jewelry that is outdated or out of style. Gem identification and testing are key to being paid the correct amount, and all testing and results should be explained at no charge. These tests include Refractive Index testing, XRF testing, scratch testing, SIGMA testing, weight verification, and microscope gemologist observations. It’s important to have your evaluation performed by an experienced gemologist with years of expertise.
